Architecture for Everyone: Girls Mentor Program
The Architecture for Everyone: Girls Mentor Program is for young women with an interest in architecture and design. The program pairs girls ages 12-14 with mentors from the architecture, construction, and engineering fields, so they can learn first-hand about careers from professional women.
The goal of the Architecture for Everyone: Girls Mentor Program is to encourage girls to consider architecture as a possible career. WAF hopes to open a door that might eventually lead to greater gender equality in a profession that needs it.
Dates and times are October 8, November 5, March 11 and May 20 from 10am-3pm.
All applications are due September 27th and acceptance letters will be sent out October 1st. The cost of program for accepted applications is $100.
