I have had it with the typical “listen to me talk so you will buy my stuff” baloney. What I think architects want is: to learn something they didn’t already know that can help them solve a problem they have and are not sure how to solve. Architects and designers are searching for new strategies for returning to work. This may be tackling social inequity; organizational psychological health, and social distancing or simply everyone wants to work from home now and you can’t afford to lose them or not having space to accommodate for social distancing. I’ll discuss how can we work together to build more fulfilling careers for all members of your firm. I’ll show how it can be done sustainably, naturally and with human well-being as the first priority. This pandemic has shown that the health of our best asset, people, is paramount. I call it the human equation. During 2020, there is no doubt you have found out who is interested in the long term strategy of your firm and those who can and will adapt to challenges. Simply by communicating and using a material for your specifications that has been overlooked and disregarded for decades, you can and will attract more talent and clients that you want for resilience and viability in your company. It is simple and profound and you will take away something to share with your investors, project managers, and decision makers and yes, buy my product.
