The recent pandemic experience is a potential catalyst for corporate and societal health and wellness initiatives and investments as critical workplace differentiators moving forward. The scale of this problem underscores the need for multi-layered systemic solutions that are both proactive and preventable. New corporate health and wellness initiatives will require the creation of work environments designed to keep employees and customers safe, healthy and prevent illness. Widespread preventative systemic change is required. The scope and severity of our new reality demand modernday tools for multi-layered antimicrobial defense. Such options as ozone, UV light, and green cleaning practices are being added to our global arsenal to combat germs. A new class of antimicrobial light addresses the gaps in continuous protection for these commercial, corporate and societal applications.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Gain insight and appreciation for the post-pandemic impact of corporate and societal health and wellness investments and demands;
- Understand the science behind antimicrobial lighting and how and where to apply it;
- Appreciate the challenges in addressing and preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi and yeast on interior surfaces through integrated lighting solutions; and
- Recognize and identify potential applications for the implementation and installation of this integrated LED lighting technology in support of these new post-pandemic initiatives.
