The Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC represents the diplomatic mission of the Italian Republic to the United States. Completed in 2000, Italian architect Piero Sartogo of Sartogo Architetti Associati won a competition to design the building on Embassy Row. In this rare opportunity, join Michael L. Giacalone, Public Relations Officer at the Italian Cultural Institute with a brief introduction to the embassy’s history and contemporary design. After the tour, participants are invited to eat lunch at the cafeteria.
