Learn to think like an architect by learning about the tools of their trade. These classes are designed to be introductory courses, and will take place on Saturdays at the District Architecture Center. Tools of the Trade is taught by talented design professionals working in Washington DC metropolitan area architecture firms.
Tools of the Trade is designed for ages 10-12.

The workshop will focus on how photography can be used as a tool for architects and other designers to document their work. Students will learn about composition, light, and tools used to create a good photograph. Depending on the weather, students will have an opportunity to go out and photograph the neighborhood. (Parents will need to stay for the field trip.)
