Are you curious about how to negotiate for yourself? The Emerging Architects Committee has organized a panel of three experts to offer their tips and tricks on how to negotiate in a variety of circumstances: in a job interview, a performance review, or in front of a client for projects of different scales.

The event will begin with a brief presentation from each of the panelists about their specific expertise followed by more intimate rotating round-table discussions with each of our speakers. These small group discussions will allow attendees the opportunity to ask questions more freely.

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explore best practices to utilize when negotiating with a potential employer;
  • Describe and apply presenters’ personal negotiation strategies to individual practice and experiences;
  • Explain and create a plan to aid in self promotion and negotiation during a performance review; and

  • Explore and inquire about best practices for negotiating with a potential client.
