Lunchtime Learning: Reflections on Co-Working Design - A View Through the Looking Glass

Co-working environments are surging in popularity, but many architects and designers have not been exposed to the internal workings of these fashionable “Wonderland” communities and their full potential to ignite creativity and fuel collaboration. In this interactive session, participants will get a rare but valuable inside look at the nuts and bolts of effective co-working design as seen from the perspective of co-working resident “Alice." Alice shares the F.A.C.T.S. of co-working design, including what makes it appealing and effective for her and the other members of her co-working community. This session also explores the ways in which co-working environments are shifting traditional office trends, not only in co-working companies, but also in other emerging and established business entities.
