Children's Walking Tour: White House Neighborhood

This hour-long tour, led by architect Mary Kay Lanzillotta, focuses on the history and architecture of Washington’s White House Neighborhood. Designed for kids in the 8-12 age group, the tour will stimulate conversation about a part of the city that is both familiar and surprising. This tour is fun and educational for older kids and adults, too.

On the tour, attendees will be exposed to:

  • Architectural Vocabulary
  • Conversation Starters
  • Activities

Mary Katherine Lanzillotta, FAIA, LEED AP

Mary Kay Lanzillotta is a Partner at Hartman-Cox Architects. Since 1989, she has been responsible for managing complex institutional and historic projects in Washington, DC and throughout the country.
