This hour-long webinar will focus on events occurring before and after the collapse of the Champlain Towers in Florida. While the official review and forensic report is still ongoing and has not been published yet, the webinar will look at possible causes of the collapse that can be clearly seen by an examination of public documents that are available on the Surfside website.

  • What do we as professionals anticipate will be the impacts to our industry from a legal, professional, and public perspective?
  • How do we as professionals foresee this tragedy affecting our current and future operations?
  • What lessons can we learn personally and professionally?

Although the program is listed as “intermediate” level, it could also be listed as “introductory” or even as “advanced" such is the broad-spectrum appeal and importance of the topic in risk and practice management. The discussion is followed by 30-minute Q&A with the panelists.
