CANstruction is a nationwide program that aims to raise awareness about hunger. It is a creative design-build competition where teams from architecture and design firms use their skills to build sculptures out of cans of food. The nutritious, shelf-stable food is donated to the Capital Area Food Bank for distribution to those in need after the event.
This year’s theme is the 1980s in honor of the Capital Area Food Bank celebrating 40 years of service to the DC area.
Interested in participating, but need a partner firm to field a full team? Contact Sinclaire Erdwien at firstname.lastname@example.org to find a match.
