CANstruction 2019 Winners

Thank you to all the teams who participated in this year's CANstruction! We had a record number of teams compete - 31! You can see all of the sculptures in the photo gallery.

We tremendously appreciate the generosity of our sponsoring firms, volunteers, and visitors who donated. In all, over 82,000 cans of food were donated to the Capital Area Food Bank

Our 2019 theme, the 1980s, was a hit, with the ingenuity of Washington's architecture community on full display.

Jury:
John Peavey, PE - Director, Building Science Division at Home Innovation Research Labs
Denise Liebowitz, AIA - Writer, ArchitectureDC Magazine
Michael Armstrong - President, NCARB

Special thanks to Ron Ngaim for photographing the sculptures.
