Design Like a Girl Mentor Program
The Design Like a Girl Mentor program is for young women with an interest in architecture and design. The program pairs girls ages 12-14 with mentors from the architecture, construction, and engineering fields, so they can learn first-hand about career from professional women.
The goal of the "Design Like a Girl" programs is to encourage girls to consider architecture as a possible career. WAF hopes to open a door that might eventually lead to greater gender equality in a profession that needs it. Read more about "Design Like a Girl" here.
