Tommy Wells
With a career in public service that spans three decades, Tommy Wells is the director of the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE). Serving as a DC Councilmember representing Ward 6, from 2007-2015, he has been recognized for his broad and effective efforts to improve the quality of life in the Nation’s Capital. A champion of public transit, cyclists, pedestrians, and our natural environment, he has helped position the District as a model for sustainable green living for cities nationwide.
